Roller Blinds

Each blind that we manufacture goes through our perfected manufacturing process producing outstanding edge quality and strict quality standard controls to ensure that we supply you with a high quality blind every time. Each blind is subjected to an extensive testing, inspection and alignment procedure to guarantee that every blind performs correctly.

At Trade Blinds Pty Ltd we endeavour to supply holland blinds within 3 weeks after the order date, provided that there is no issue with fabric supply. Under certain circumstances we may be able to manufacture your order in a shorter timeframe on request where possible.

All our blinds are manufactured with the complete Acmeda system including pre-looped chains. All blinds come standard with brackets, fitting screws, chain stops and chains safes along with compulsory warning labels and tags. Additional items such as double brackets, spring assists, bracket covers, easylink systems, motorisation, pelmets or stainless steel chains can be provided on request.

Roller blinds are manufactured using Acmeda aluminium roll tube available in various strengths according to blind width to prevent bowing. Blinds between 0mm – 2100mm wide are manufactured using 40mm roll tube, blinds between 2101mm – 2600mm using 45mm roll tube and blinds greater than 2601mm using 45mm heavy duty roll tube. These guidelines are well within Acmeda technical specifications to ensure that the tube can withstand the weight of the fabric.

Our blinds are manufactured with oval aluminium bottom rail as standard in the following colours: White, White Birch, Rivergum, Black or Anodised. Round aluminium bottom rail is also available in the same colours. Other options including plain finish or scallop finish may also be available on request.

Acmeda chain drives are also supplied with each blind and are available in the following colours: White, White Birch, Rivergum, Black or Grey. Trade Blinds Pty Ltd will match the component colours to the fabric ordered unless specified otherwise. Acmeda chain drives allow for smoother chain operation and prevents the pulling motion required to operate older style holland blinds. This greatly reduces damage caused to the fabric and your blind, therefore increasing the life of your blind.

Only pre-looped control chains are supplied as they allow shorter chain lengths to be used and remove the need for chain joiners which can become stuck in the chain drive mechanism damaging the blind. Chain length is automatically determined according to the blind drop measurement but specific chain lengths can be requested. Metal chains are supplied as standard with plastic chains also available in the following colours: White, Cream or Black. Stainless steel chains are also optional and can be provided on request.

Installation brackets are also supplied with each blind and are available in the following colours: White, White Birch, Black, or Grey. Trade Blinds Pty Ltd will match the component colours to the fabric ordered unless specified otherwise. Installation screws are also supplied with every blind. Bracket covers are also available in the following colours: White, White Birch, Black or Grey. Refer to Installation Bracket Specifications for further information.

Double brackets allow you to install a sunscreen or translucent holland blind with a blockout holland blind in the same window cavity to provide both daytime and nightime options. There are now three types of double brackets: square (same side control); slimline (opposite side control) or compact (front roll & back roll combination). Slimline and compact double brackets have a smaller projection and can be used for smaller window cavities. Trade Blinds Pty Ltd will supply square double brackets as standard and match the component colours to the fabric ordered unless specified otherwise. Installation screws are also supplied with every blind. Double brackets are supplied in White, White Birch, Black, or Grey. Refer to Installation Bracket Specifications for further information.

Trade Blinds Pty Ltd also provides a ‘Repairs and Alterations’ service if required. A ‘cut down’ service gives you the ability to reduce the width and/or drop of a blind provided that the fabric is still in a reasonable condition. If fabric is unsuitable for a ‘cut down’ we can offer to replace the fabric where possible and retain the original components provided that they are still in a reasonable condition. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the options that may be available to you and the associated costs involved.

ALL MEASUREMENTS MUST BE SUPPLIED AS THE ACTUAL SIZE (HARD SIZE) OF THE BLIND REQUIRED IN THE FOLLOWING FORMAT: WIDTH X DROP IN MILLIMETRES. DO NOT TAKE ANY DEDUCTIONS.

We will make any deductions necessary to ensure that the blind supplied is the exact size required.
